I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a Registered Individual, Couple and Family Therapist (Clinical Fellow) with the Canadian Association for Couple and Family Therapy (CACFT). For close to 30 years, I’ve helped individuals, couples and families strengthen their relationships and find their footing through life’s hardest transitions.
About Michele

How I work. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, so I blend evidence-based methods to fit each client. These include Internal Family Systems (IFS Level 1 trained), which helps you understand the different parts of yourself that react under stress, and EMDR (Levels 1 and 2 trained), which supports healing from difficult memories and many forms of trauma. I bring empathy, curiosity and a strengths-based, collaborative approach to every session.
Separation and divorce. I’m an Accredited Family Mediator (Acc FM) with the Ontario Association for Family Mediation (OAFM). I’ve also worked in Collaborative Practice as a Family Professional and Trainer/Coach, supporting separating couples through a team-based alternative to court. That experience shapes how I help clients today. In all of this work, children’s wellbeing stays front and centre.
Education. Master of Theological Studies in Pastoral Counselling (Wilfrid Laurier University); Honours BA in Sociology (McMaster University); Addiction Studies Diploma (McMaster University).
